New laser blood test could transform breast cancer detection
NCT ID NCT04273542
Summary
This study is testing a new method to screen for breast cancer using a simple blood test analyzed by a special laser. Researchers are comparing results from this 'liquid biopsy' to standard mammograms in 1,100 women, including those with breast cancer, those without, and those with high genetic risk. The goal is to see if this blood test can accurately detect breast cancer.
