Laser light tested to soothe Post-Stroke shoulder pain
NCT ID NCT05328401
Summary
This study is testing whether a modern, painless form of acupuncture using low-level laser light can help reduce shoulder pain and improve movement in people recovering from a stroke. It will involve 58 adults who have had a stroke and are experiencing shoulder pain. Researchers will measure changes in pain levels and how well the shoulder can move to see if the laser treatment is effective.
