NCT ID NCT07538310
First seen Apr 21, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study tests whether laser acupuncture, a painless treatment using low-level light, can reduce fatigue and improve quality of life in adults with end-stage kidney disease who are on dialysis. Fifty participants will receive either real laser acupuncture or a sham treatment during their regular dialysis sessions three times a week for four weeks. Researchers will track changes in fatigue, sleep, appetite, and other symptoms using questionnaires and non-invasive tests.
