Light therapy tested for migraine relief when pills fall short
NCT ID NCT06219694
Summary
This study is testing if adding laser acupuncture to standard migraine medication helps people who aren't getting enough relief from drugs alone. Sixty adults with chronic migraines will receive either real or fake (sham) laser treatments to see if the real therapy reduces the number of migraine days and use of pain medication. The goal is to see if this non-invasive, needle-free approach can better control migraine symptoms and improve quality of life.
