Study tests two surgeries to stop kids from choking on food

NCT ID NCT07057258

Summary

This study aims to find out which of two surgical procedures works better to help children with swallowing problems caused by a laryngeal cleft. Children aged 1 to 10 years will be randomly assigned to receive either an injection or a suture repair to build up the back of their airway. Researchers will compare how well each procedure improves swallowing safety and quality of life over time.
