Summary

This study is testing whether an experimental drug called larsucosterol can help people with severe alcohol-associated hepatitis survive longer without needing a liver transplant. Researchers will enroll 350 adults who are hospitalized with this serious liver condition. The main goal is to see if the drug improves survival rates at 90 days compared to standard care.
