Study tests safer start for keyhole surgery in women with past operations

NCT ID NCT07473934

Summary

This study aims to find the best and safest way to begin a common type of minimally invasive gynecologic surgery (laparoscopy) in women who have scars from previous abdominal surgeries, like a C-section. Researchers will compare two different needle insertion techniques to see which one results in a shorter total surgery time. The goal is to gather knowledge to improve surgical safety for this specific group of patients.
