First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study compares two minimally invasive procedures to treat chronic pelvic pain: laparoscopic presacral neurectomy and fluoroscopically guided nerve block. Sixty-two adults with pelvic cancer-related pain who still have significant pain despite standard treatment will be randomly assigned to one of the two procedures. The main goal is to see which method provides better pain relief and reduces the need for painkillers over six months.
