Keyhole surgery for liver infection: a faster recovery?
NCT ID NCT07303829
Summary
This study is testing a less invasive 'keyhole' surgery to drain serious liver infections called abscesses. It will compare this laparoscopic method to traditional open surgery to see if it leads to fewer complications, shorter hospital stays, and faster recovery for patients. The goal is to find a safer and more effective way to treat these infections when simpler drainage methods have failed.
