Summary
This study tested whether watching a video before gallbladder surgery helps patients recover better than reading a brochure. 92 patients were randomly assigned to receive either video or brochure instructions about pain management, wound care, and getting back to normal activities. Researchers measured recovery speed, pain levels, and nausea to see which education method worked best.
