Can early speech therapy help premature babies read better?

NCT ID NCT02811029

Summary

This study followed 108 children who were born very prematurely to see if specific speech therapy they received around age 3-4 helped their reading skills years later, at school age. Researchers measured reading speed and comprehension to understand if early language support has long-term benefits for learning. The goal was to gather knowledge about how to best support the development of children born prematurely.
