First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 35 times
Summary
This study tests a new type of nerve block called LAM to reduce pain at the skin graft donor site on the thigh. Unlike standard blocks, it aims to numb only the skin without weakening the leg muscles. Ten adults having skin graft surgery will receive the block, and researchers will map how much sensation is lost.
