Summary

This study aims to find out how many children and teens in Russia have a rare genetic condition called lysosomal acid lipase deficiency (LAL-D). Researchers will check kids with certain warning signs, like an enlarged liver or abnormal cholesterol levels, to see if they have the disease. No treatments are given; the goal is to learn more about how common LAL-D is and how it is diagnosed.
