New obesity drug LAE103 enters first human safety trials

Summary
This early-stage study tests the safety and tolerability of a new injectable drug called LAE103 in healthy overweight or obese adults, and in healthy postmenopausal women. Researchers will also test LAE103 combined with another drug, LAE102. The goal is to find out if the drug is safe and how the body processes it, not yet to prove weight loss. About 104 participants will take part.
