First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study compares two oral bowel preparation agents—lactulose and sodium phosphate—to see which one leads to better colonoscopy quality, fewer side effects, and higher patient satisfaction. About 300 adults scheduled for a colonoscopy will take one of the two treatments before their procedure. The goal is to find a more comfortable and effective way to clean the colon.
