Summary
This study looked at whether taking a probiotic called Lactobacillus acidophilus could help postmenopausal women keep their bones strong and maintain healthy calcium levels. 90 women aged 45-70 took either the probiotic or a placebo. The goal was to see if the probiotic could reduce bone loss and improve calcium status.
