NCT ID NCT07150884

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 30 times

Summary

This study tests whether adding lactase drops to milk helps premature babies (born at 28-34 weeks) digest lactose better and gain weight faster. About 100 newborns will receive either lactase-fortified milk or regular milk, and their weight, length, and head growth will be tracked. The goal is to improve feeding tolerance and growth in these vulnerable infants.
