First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This Phase 2 trial tests whether Lacripep eye drops can help the cornea heal faster and more smoothly after PRK laser eye surgery. 88 active-duty military members and their dependents will receive Lacripep in one eye and a placebo in the other. The study measures corneal thickness and vision recovery to see if the drug is safe and effective.

- What this could lead to
- If it works, this could provide a new eye drop to help the cornea heal faster and more completely after laser eye surgery.
