Military trial tests eye drop to speed vision recovery after surgery

NCT ID NCT06854393

Summary

This study is testing whether a new eye drop called Lacripep can help the cornea heal faster after PRK laser eye surgery. The trial involves 88 active-duty military members and their dependents who are having PRK to correct nearsightedness. Researchers will use special imaging to measure how quickly the eye's surface heals and whether vision returns to normal faster with the treatment.
