New moves for moms: can a simple position circuit speed up stalled labor?
NCT ID NCT06636149
Summary
This study is testing whether a specific sequence of position changes guided by a nurse can help shorten the first stage of labor when it's taking too long. It will involve 82 pregnant people experiencing prolonged labor, comparing the new position circuit to standard care. Researchers will measure how long labor lasts, the health of mother and baby, and the mother's satisfaction with the experience.
