First seen Apr 03, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 5 times

Summary

This study tests whether adding a small dose of morphine to the spinal part of a combined spinal-epidural (CSE) pain block reduces sudden breakthrough pain during labor. About 182 first-time mothers with a single baby will participate. The goal is to see if this approach provides smoother, more consistent pain relief.
