First seen Mar 02, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 14 times
Summary
This study tested whether placing a patient's own blood concentrate (L-PRF) into the surgical site after dental root-end surgery improves bone healing. 15 adults with persistent tooth infections were followed for 12 months. The goal was to see if L-PRF leads to better bone regrowth and fewer symptoms like pain or swelling.
