Summary

This study tests whether a daily supplement called L-citrulline can prevent high blood pressure conditions (like preeclampsia) in women who are pregnant for the first time. Healthy women between 12-16 weeks of pregnancy will be randomly assigned to receive either L-citrulline or a placebo. The goal is to see if the supplement reduces the number of women who develop pregnancy-related high blood pressure.
