First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study tested whether taking L-arginine supplements for six weeks can improve exercise ability and kidney function in heart transplant recipients. Thirty stable male patients who had received a heart transplant at least six weeks earlier took part. The goal was to see if this natural supplement could help with common post-transplant problems like poor exercise capacity and kidney damage from anti-rejection drugs.
