New Drug's first human test targets dangerous blood fat
NCT ID NCT06783881
Summary
This is the first study in humans to test the safety of an experimental drug called Kylo-12, which aims to lower high triglyceride levels in the blood. About 50 healthy volunteers with elevated triglycerides will receive either the drug or a placebo to check for side effects and see how the body processes it. The main goal is to determine if the drug is safe and well-tolerated before testing it in larger studies.
