Summary
This was the first study in humans to test the safety of a new drug called Kylo-11, which is being developed for heart disease. Researchers gave single doses to 71 healthy volunteers to see how their bodies handled the drug and to check for side effects. The study measured how long the drug stayed in the body and its effect on a specific blood fat called Lp(a).
