Elastic tape may beat slings for Kids' broken collarbones
NCT ID NCT04161534
First seen Apr 07, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study looks at whether elastic tape (KT tape) works better than a traditional arm sling for children with a broken collarbone. About 50 children will be randomly assigned to wear either tape or a sling, and researchers will track their pain, disability, and painkiller use. The goal is to see if the tape provides better comfort and function while the bone heals.
