New stroke drug shows promise in Mid-Stage trial

Summary
This study tests an experimental drug called KPCXM18 in people who have had a stroke caused by a blood clot. The goal is to see if the drug helps patients recover better than a placebo. About 300 adults aged 18 to 80 will receive either the drug or a placebo within 12 hours of their stroke. The main measure of success is how many patients can function independently 90 days later.
