Digital coach helps patients and therapists team up to beat leg pain
NCT ID NCT05232474
Summary
This study tested a digital tool called KomPas+ designed to help physical therapists and their patients work together more effectively. The tool uses treatment guidelines to create personalized plans for people with leg pain caused by poor circulation (intermittent claudication). Researchers wanted to see if using this tool helped patients walk farther and feel better, and if it improved how therapists and patients make decisions together.
