First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 32 times

Summary

This study tests a wearable knee sleeve called KneeStim that uses mild electrical pulses to help people walk better after ACL reconstruction. About 60 military cadets aged 17-27 will wear the sleeve during rehab and daily activities for 12 weeks. Researchers will compare a group using a low-intensity version to a group using a flexible-intensity version to see if it improves gait, muscle mass, and return to full duty.
