Summary
This study follows 201 patients for at least two years after they have surgery to reconstruct a key knee ligament (MPFL) that helps prevent the kneecap from dislocating. Researchers want to see if the natural alignment of a patient's knee bones affects how well the surgery works and whether the kneecap dislocates again. The goal is to better understand which patients are most likely to benefit from this specific surgical procedure.
