New knee exam could replace MRI, speed up recovery
NCT ID NCT07028476
Summary
This study is testing a new care pathway for people with knee sprains. It compares using a quick, automated knee stability test (ADL) right after an emergency room visit to the standard approach of waiting for an MRI scan. The goal is to see if this faster diagnosis method leads to quicker treatment decisions, shorter recovery times, and lower costs, while maintaining good patient outcomes.
