Scientists map the 'Normal' knee twist to stop sports injuries before they happen
NCT ID NCT07013019
Summary
This study aims to establish normal reference values for how much a healthy athlete's knee can rotate. Researchers will measure knee rotation in 482 competitive athletes with no history of knee injury using a specialized device. The goal is to create a baseline to help identify athletes who might be at higher risk for serious knee ligament tears, like ACL injuries, and to improve future prevention programs.
