Smart sensors aim for better knee replacements
NCT ID NCT06321042
Summary
This study is testing whether using small motion sensors to guide the surgeon during a total knee replacement leads to better results for patients. It will involve 40 people aged 50-85 who need a knee replacement due to severe arthritis. Researchers will track how well patients recover by asking them to fill out questionnaires about their pain, stiffness, and ability to do daily activities.
