Five-Year knee implant study seeks to improve joint replacement outcomes

NCT ID NCT00734110

Summary

This study followed 723 people with severe knee arthritis who received P.F.C. Sigma knee replacement implants. Researchers tracked how well the implants worked and how patients felt before surgery and for at least five years afterward. The goal was to collect real-world data on pain relief, function, and any complications to understand the long-term performance of these knee replacements.
