New nerve blocks aim to ease knee surgery pain without slowing recovery
NCT ID NCT07350252
Summary
This study aims to find the best way to manage pain after knee replacement surgery. It will compare the current standard pain injection around the knee with a new approach that adds three precise nerve blocks designed to numb pain without affecting leg muscle strength. Researchers will measure pain levels, opioid medication use, and how quickly 200 patients can get moving again after their operation.
