Knee surgery pain relief: which method gets patients back on their feet faster?

NCT ID NCT07236073

Summary

This study compared two different pain control methods used after total knee replacement surgery. Researchers wanted to see which method—a combination of injections or a specific nerve block—helped patients recover better and feel less pain after their operation. They measured recovery using a detailed questionnaire and pain scores in 60 patients undergoing knee replacement for severe arthritis.
