One-Shot pain relief tested for knee surgery recovery

NCT ID NCT05603832

Summary

This completed Phase 3 study tested whether a single injection of F14 (a long-acting pain medication) given during knee replacement surgery provides better pain relief than standard pain treatments alone. The trial involved 151 adults aged 45-80 undergoing knee replacement. Researchers measured pain levels, knee movement, and opioid medication use to compare the two approaches.
