Scientists track knee Implant's secret movements

NCT ID NCT06189872

Summary

This study aims to understand how a specific type of cementless knee replacement implant moves and settles inside the body over two years after surgery. Researchers will use special X-ray and CT scan techniques to precisely measure tiny movements of the implant parts in 30 patients with knee arthritis. The goal is to gather detailed information about the implant's long-term stability, which could help improve future knee replacement designs and patient outcomes.
