Which anesthesia leads to a smoother recovery after knee surgery?

NCT ID NCT07275983

Summary

This study looks back at 500 patients who had total knee replacement surgery to see if the type of anesthesia they received affected their recovery. Researchers are comparing spinal anesthesia (numbing the lower body) to general anesthesia (being fully asleep) to find out which one helps patients feel better and recover function faster after surgery. The goal is to provide clearer guidance for future patients and doctors on the best choice for comfort and recovery.
