New study tests two ways to rebuild damaged knees in young adults
NCT ID NCT07204587
Summary
This study aims to find the best way to repair knees in young adults who still have pain and swelling after having part of their meniscus (knee cushion) removed. It will compare two surgical options: using the patient's own hamstring tendon or using donated meniscus tissue from another person. Researchers will track 40 participants for two years to see which approach provides better pain relief, function, and return to sports.
