First seen Jan 20, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study tests if a safe, non-invasive brain stimulation technique called tDCS can help people recover from knee replacement surgery. About 70 adults scheduled for a knee replacement will use a home-based device before and after surgery. The goal is to see if this approach can reduce pain and lower the risk of long-term pain after surgery.
