NCT ID NCT07267650
First seen Dec 10, 2025 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study compares two methods to control pain after total knee replacement. One method uses two nerve blocks given by an anesthesiologist, while the other uses a nerve block plus numbing medicine injected by the surgeon. The goal is to see which approach provides better pain relief during movement 24 hours after surgery. About 100 adults having knee replacement will take part, and neither they nor their doctors will know which group they are in.
