New procedure targets knee pain at its source
NCT ID NCT07361198
Summary
This study is testing a minimally invasive procedure to reduce chronic knee pain from osteoarthritis or after knee replacement. Doctors use a thin tube to deliver tiny particles that temporarily block some blood vessels in the knee, aiming to calm inflammation and reduce pain. The goal is to see if this approach is safe and effective for people who haven't gotten enough relief from standard treatments like medication or physical therapy.
