Zap your knee pain? new study tests electrical therapy

NCT ID NCT07351981

Summary

This study is testing whether a non-invasive electrical treatment can reduce chronic knee pain from osteoarthritis. 50 adults with knee pain that hasn't improved with standard treatments will be randomly assigned to receive either the real treatment or a fake (sham) version. Researchers will measure changes in pain and knee function over six months to see if the treatment works.
