Can simple exercises beat standard knee pain treatment?

NCT ID NCT06536426

Summary

This study tested if a specific set of knee-strengthening exercises (called a knee isometric program) worked better than the usual physical therapy for reducing pain in the front of the knee. A small group of adults with knee pain were randomly assigned to try one of the two exercise plans. Researchers measured their pain levels, knee strength, and ability to do daily tasks to see which approach helped more.
