New knee pain drug enters human testing

Summary

This early-stage study tests a drug called CX-011 for moderate to severe knee osteoarthritis pain. About 72 adults aged 18-75 with knee osteoarthritis will receive the drug via injection into the knee joint. The main goals are to check safety and tolerability, and to see if it reduces pain and improves function over 24 weeks.
