Summary
This study compared two different hands-on physical therapy techniques for people with knee osteoarthritis. Researchers tested whether strain counter strain (a gentle positioning method) or myofascial release (soft tissue massage) worked better to reduce pain and improve daily function. The study involved 44 adults aged 40-65 with moderate knee arthritis who were overweight or obese.
