NCT ID NCT06744036

First seen Apr 13, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This study looks at whether adding a gentle electrical current (interferential current) to a standard exercise program can reduce pain and improve daily function in people with knee osteoarthritis. About 138 adults aged 40-75 with knee pain will be split into three groups: exercise only, exercise plus real electrical current, or exercise plus a placebo current. The goal is to see if the electrical current provides extra relief beyond exercise alone.
