New knee injection aims to ease arthritis pain
NCT ID NCT05771948
Summary
This study tested whether a single injection called CCoat into the knee joint could safely reduce pain and improve daily function for people with mild to moderate knee osteoarthritis. It compared two different strengths of CCoat against a placebo (inactive) injection in 125 participants. Researchers followed participants for six months to see if the injection provided lasting relief and was safe to receive a second time.
