New injection combo aims to ease arthritic knee pain

NCT ID NCT07323342

Summary

This study is testing whether adding a protein called fibrinogen to a standard knee injection (hyaluronic acid) can better relieve pain and improve movement in people with knee osteoarthritis. All 31 participants will receive the combined injection, and researchers will track their pain levels, knee function, and any side effects. The goal is to see if this combination is safe and more effective than the standard injection alone.
